Broadband is an umbrella term for low-cost connections delivered using shared connections from your local street cabinet.

It includes products such as FTTP (Fibre to the Premises), FTTC (Fibre to the Cabinet), and ADSL (Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line). These products offer different speeds and availability varies across the UK.

Broadband is often used by smaller businesses, small offices, or as a backup for higher bandwidth Ethernet circuits due to its affordability and quick installation times (typically 10-30 working days).

What's Included

Remote Hardware Installation

We'll ship you a preconfigured router and all the cables you need to get up and running. Follow the simple instructions, plug it in and give us a call. Installations usually take 15-30 working days.

Flexible Support

Our team of service desk engineers are available from 8am to 6pm each working day to help with any issues. With a choice of support levels, we're here when you need us.

  • Standard - business hours break/fix with 40 clock hours target fix time.
  • Silver - business hours break/fix with 20 clock hours target fix time.
  • Gold - business hours break/fix with 8 clock hours target fix time.

    Getting Your Service Installed

    When you've placed your order, we'll be in touch to arrange a convenient installation appointment. This will involve an engineer visiting you to get a connection from the local street cabinet to your building. Usually this is done in one visit but occasionally a second is needed.

    Your cost from internet.compare includes this visit and is based on checks done to address level. All carriers include an allowance for some additional work, but if your building is particularly complicated you may need some extra work done. On the rare occasion that this applies costs will be estimated and shared after the survey, where you'll have a choice to either cancel the order at no cost or to carry on.
