The most secure way to connect multiple locations.
Imagine your offices as islands. Isolated locations surrounded by the internet. One way to communicate with another island would be to get in a boat and cross the sea. However, the sea is unpredictable. You can't control anything once you leave the safety of your island. It's influenced by changing conditions and nobody owns it. In the same way, the internet is a public network that you can communicate across but not control.
Now imagine you build a tunnel between your islands. This is totally dedicated to you and in your control. You can see when something enters or exits the tunnel at both ends. You also control the entire environment, so you can see the whole journey through the tunnel. Private connections work in the same way, avoiding the public internet, giving complete control and visibility of your business-critical communication between sites.
Types include MPLS and VPLS, these are ideal for businesses with multiple locations that need to connect internally for business services. Powered by underlying ethernet fibre, these services underpin business critical operations across the world.
Private connections also include a quality guarantee called an SLA (Service Level Agreement) with a target fix time in case of any issues. If this gets missed, you'll get some of your money back for the inconvenience.
Guaranteed bandwidth for your business alone.
24x7, 6-hour fix or money back
We'll ship you a preconfigured router and all the cables you need to get up and running. Follow the simple instructions, plug it in and give us a call. Installations are subject to survey and take 45-90 working days.
Our team of service desk engineers are available from 8am to 6pm each working day to help with any issues. Outside of those hours, an on-call engineer is available 24x7. With a choice of support levels, we're here when you need us.
We know that businesses come in all shapes and sizes, so when you've placed your order, we'll be in touch to arrange a site survey. This will involve an engineer visiting you to plan the exact route the new connection will take into your building. They'll look at a whole host of things and recommend an installation plan to their delivery team. This will take into account any challenges raised e.g. "We're in a listed building and the cable can't go that way".
Your cost from internet.compare includes this survey and is based on checks done to address level. All carriers include an allowance for some additional work, but if your building is particularly complicated you may need some extra work done. On the rare occasion that this applies costs will be estimated and shared after the survey, where you'll have a choice to either cancel the order at no cost or to carry on.
