From Quote, to Order, to Delivery

To ensure that your business receives the necessary infrastructure, a carrier will conduct a site survey. After completion of the survey, one of our carriers will implement the most suitable solution. Working with us directly, we can keep you updated every step of the way.

Once your order is confirmed, we’ll reach out to arrange a convenient time for a site survey tailored to your business needs.

Site Assessment by Engineer

  • Map out the optimal cable route

  • Recommend alternatives if needed (e.g., for heritage buildings with limited cable access)

Flexible Scheduling

Example: For schools, we schedule installations during holidays to minimise disruption to students' learning.

Site Survey

After they conduct the site survey, the surveyors will recommend a plan to their installation team. The cost from internet.compare includes the site survey, based on checks done to address level.

Removing Headaches

With our smart comparison tool, all options from our UK's carriers are available to compare for your specific location. This takes the headache out of managing quotes from multiple connectivity providers that present things in different ways.

Allowance

All carriers include an allowance for some additional work, but if your building is particularly complicated you may need to have some extra work done.

Excess Construction Charges

Whilst all carriers include an allowance for some additional work, challenging buildings or unforeseen scenarios can incur additional costs. For example, the carrier may have to lay some new ducting for their network to reach your site. These costs are known as ECCs or excess construction charges and will be identified at survey stage. Should ECCs be identified, the order delivery is paused until costs are accepted or rejected. If you choose to reject the costs, you can cancel the order without penalty.

When is it live

Your service should be live 45 to 90 working days (subject to survey). This starts from when the fibre carrier accepts the order, but we'll keep you updated every step of the way. Fibre installation will connect a fibre optical cable directly to your business premises. This typically can be completed within a single visit.

When does support start

Upon completion of the installation process, your managed service will take effect on your new network. You will have dedicated support from our team, with SLA support ranging from standard, silver, & gold. Within 90 days your new network will be live and ready for use!
